Fraser C Robb is a family business, Fraser and Kate started the business in 1975 at the original premises where Fraser Robb had served his apprenticeship and worked with Mr McAinsh from 1959 to 1966. He then left to sell commerical vehicles for 9 years before coming back to Drymen in 1975 to start up in business for himself.
Struan Robb joined the business straight from school, attending college and gaining his apprenticeship in Engineering. Struan has worked across every area of the business and now is doing sales within and outwith the workshop.
Lorna Robb joined the business in 2007. She started her career within the hotel industry, laterly within the HR Department, then remained within HR for numerous years, before a move into Britvic as a Sales Manager. She then joined Totaljobs.com to set up the sales office within Scotland, then left to establish her own job board, scottishjobsonthe.net, prior to joining Fraser C Robb.
Fraser C Robb has a team of 8, comprising of Cameron McFarlane, the workshop foreman, 4 engineers (Elliot, Kiall, Gary, John, Martyn and apprentice Josh) 1 storeman (Bill), 1 driver (Frankie), 1 administrator (Jane). The team has been with us from 6 months to 12 years and have extensive experience across all types of agricultural and garden machinery.
